Hour 07:15-We meet up at Campo di Marte train station to leave for Rome
Hour 07:38-We take a Frecciargento train, cost of the ticket 30€ for each person
Hour 09:10-We arrive at Roma Termini station
Hour 09:40-We arrive at the Colosseum, cost of the ticket 17.00€
THE COLOSSEUM:
The Colosseum is open to the public almost every day, except December 25, January 1 and May , its open from 9 in the morning to the afternoon (17:00 in winter, 19:30 in summer). You can visit the Colosseum even at night.
The entrance fee is valid for 2 days and allows the entrance also to the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill.
The Colosseum is very beautiful and popular all over the world. It isn’t very expensive.
Hour 11:40-We walk to lunch
Hour 12:00-We eat a hotdog and a coke at a nice food truck
Hour 13:00-We take the subway to St Peter’s Basilica, cost of the ticket €1.50 (for the subway)
Hour 13:20-We arrive at St Peter’s Basilica

ST PETER’S BASILICA:
The Basilica is open in winter from 1 October to 31 March from 7:00 to 18:30. But in summer it’s open from 1 April to 30 September from 7:00 to 19:00. The Basilica is big and beautiful, it’s full of art and history and it’s in Vatican City.
Vatican City is the Pope residence. People come from all over the world to visit it.
Hour 14:40-We take a nice walk to the Pantheon
Hour 15:00-We arrive at the Pantheon
THE PANTHEON:
The entrance is free and it’s open from 8:30 to 19:30 ( Mon-Sat ) and from 9:00 to 18:00 ( Sunday )
There are a lot of people that visit it. When you visit the Pantheon you feel like you were in the past, there are a lot of things from Roman epoch.
It’s in the city centre and it’s easy to find, part of its beauty is its square.
Hour 16:20-We eat an ice-cream at Don Nino, an ice-cream shop.
It’s in Piazza di Spagna. Their ice-cream is really good and they have a lot of flavours. Try it !
