Stop 1= Morning : Santa Maria del Fiore
It’s the most important church in Florence. It’s called the Duomo. It’s famous for the Cupola made by Brunelleschi. It’s in the city centre, near the station. It’s 6-7 centuries old and it’s open every day from 10:00 am to 07:00 pm.
Stop 2= Early afternoon: Galleria degli Uffizi
It’s the most famous museum in Florence. Visitors can see many paintings of the Italian renaissance and the Middle Ages. It’s next to Piazza della Signoria, it was completed in 1581. It’s open from 08:00 am to 07:00 pm.
Stop 3= Late afternoon: Giardino di Boboli
It’s the big park in Florence. It’s near Palazzo Pitti and Forte di Belvedere. It’s one of the most important examples of Giardino all’Italiana. It’s an open-air museum with sculptures from ancient times to the XX° century. The garden belonged to the Medici family then to the Lorena family and finally to Savoia family. It’s open every day from 8:15 am to 06:30 pm.
