Florence is a fantastic city in Tuscany. There are a lot of things to visit .
We chose four places to visit in a sunny day : they are the Duomo of Florence , Boboli Gardens , The ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery.
Duomo of Florence
The Duomo is the most important Church in Florence and is the symbol of the city. The Church is in Piazza Duomo near Giotto’s Campanile(another symbol of the town) .
In the Duomo there are 3 naves.
The Duomo is also called ‘Chiesa di Santa Maria del Fiore’.
The Garden of Boboli
Boboli Garden is a historic park in Florence. The garden welcomes 800.000 visitors a year . It is one of the most important gardens in Italy.
It’s very beautiful and there are a lots sculptures that you can admire; you can walk and relax.
It is open from 8.15 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
The Ponte Vecchio
The Ponte Vecchio is one of the most important bridges in the world.
It was the only bridge that remained standing after the German bombings during the Second World War.
Today , on the bringe, there are a lot of shops and planty of tourists visit it.
The Uffizi Gallery
The Uffizi Gallery is a very important and famous museum in Florence.
There are 2.000.000 visitors a year.
There you can find the collection of masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance.
In the corridors there are also Roman sculptures.
